GDPR & Privacy Notice
Your Privacy is important to us as a club, your data will never be handed to 3rd Parties or used for any method other than those detailed below. Your data is stored securely with our Secretary with no access to any non-committee member. We never use your data to contact you by any means other than those listed below. We do not send marketing emails.
Membership Details
Your membership details are held purely for the membership process of issuing and verifying your membership number of the means of discounted entries fees and recording of your entry and points record. Data held in the Membership form, includes your name, date of birth, address, mobile, email address and membership number. Your details are maintained for the membership year only + 1 year. After this period all your details are destroyed.
Entry Details
Entry details are recorded on the class sheets, this comprises of your membership status, back number, rider name and horse/pony name and relevant placings. This data is used purely for the record of attendance and any point allocation for the placings in the class. Entry details are maintained for the show session, until final presentation and then destroyed.
Points Records
Points records are maintained during the session, which include member name and horse/pony name and are recorded in each class entered during the session. This data is used purely for the record of attendance and any point allocation for the placings in the class. Points records are maintained and published during the session and at the final presentation evening. Published points will be shown on the website during the session and at the presentation. Members names maybe redacted if requested in writing to the club.
Membership of the Club and entry at any of ours shows is consent for the club to use your data solely as detailed above. Under GDPR you have the right to have this data removed / forgotten at any time. Having your details removed from our records will impact our ability to record your results and offer membership benefits. If you wish to discuss or request removing your details please see a member of the committee.
